I recently decided to “take the plunge” so to speak… I’ve completely deleted my MySpace account and switched to Last.fm! You may be thinking, “Wait, what? They’re not really the same, dude.” But the way I used MySpace, they were the same. I wasn’t using MySpace for anything but keeping track of bands or finding new ones. So, the logical next step? Sign up for Last.fm, of course!
Last.fm (from my experiences so far) is frickin amazing! I absolutely love the different ways you can customize your music experience: playlists, stations, ban tracks, love tracks, events, etc. These are all things that PureVolume and MySpace have kinda touched on but never fully perfected. I can’t believe I hung on to my MySpace account for so long. Honestly, if you’re not on Last.fm, get on there immediately and create an account. You won’t regret it!
